Saw a difference after 1 use…

I followed the directions and applied this to towel, dried hair, prior to shampoo. I saw someone who suggested using this product after clarifying shampoo, but due to all the controversy surrounding Olaplex, I am checking the directions by Olaplex on the bottle and also on the website and am following them. I have very fine hair which I always have to treat as damaged. Part of my hair was previously bleached, so I’ve been combating major breakage, which is why I chose to add this product to my regimen. I applied plenty of the product to my (damp) hair and combed through. Put a plastic cap on and left it a few hours. I followed with No. 4, bond shampoo, which felt great. I then applied a keratin treatment/conditioner to my hair, covered with a cap and left it overnight. Leaving a keratin treatment overnight is not recommended, but it’s part of my routine and I know my hair. I know how my hair usually comes out after doing this. The Reveal: I have to say that after only 1 use, my hair seems noticeably stronger. Each strand even seems thicker, like there is a protective coating. I really like this. It’s somehow stronger but also moisturized. Not brittle. I did notice an improvement regarding breakage. Maybe 1-3 hairs only. Each hair looks visibly healthy. More healthy than before. Straight, soft, less frizz and no split ends. I have to say I think this works, even after only 1 treatment and that’s ideal for any hair care product. I’ll leave another review after I finish the bottle, being mindful to use as directed.

Not much effect on virgin hair.

At first I felt my hair improved using this but ultimately felt the difference once I was done with the bottle wasn’t much. So not for me personally, I think this is great if you’ve ever dyed your hair a lot as my mother had more positive results than I did

This is my 3rd bottle, it smooths my blenched ballage hair like it never been dyed and personally find it easy to apply before washing my hair.

Not for my 4b/4c kinky natural hair!

I bought Olaplex No. 3 because I saw someone in a YouTube video who had a similar hair type as mine using it. I have natural, unprocessed kinky hair. When using the product, I did not notice a difference in strength, which is why I bought it, but what I really didn’t like was the way that it made my hair feel. Before buying this, I had been using a hardening protein treatment every 6 weeks. Based on some testimonials, I thought Olaplex might work better. WRONG! Went back to the protein treatments and now my hair is happy again.

Great but only if your hair is damaged

I like Olaplex No.3. It really helps strengthen and smooth damaged hair, but if your hair is already healthy you probably won’t notice much of a difference. Great for repairing, not really needed for maintenance.

Best treatment ever!

I've been using this for about a year now religiously. As a girl with thick, long curly hair I needed this to revive my curls after extensive bleaching. All I can say is that it works, trust the process and every penny spend on it is worth it!
