Out of all of the incentivized hair products I've been sent to try, this one is definitely my favorite! After my very first wash, I could already feel a difference. My hair felt smooth, soft, and dried with much less frizz as compared to when I use my normal conditioner. I also love how much product you receive in this jar- a little goes a long way! I will for sure be repurchasing this product when I run out! It is the perfect, once a week, special hair treatment pick me up!

Nice mask!

I have really enjoyed trying this mask out. The scent is light and not too intense, the texture is also not too heavy. I didn't notice a major different on anything except that my hair is shiny. I do think it the hair moisturizes well. I do find that it does take away from the volume a little bit as my hair feels a little heavier after use. Is it a product that I would recommend? Yes. Especially for a deep moisture mask if that is something your hair needs! If you are looking for more volume, I would avoid this mask. I'm also not 100% sure what the metal detox is or does for you hair but it can't be bad! Overall this product is well made, luxurious, and definitely something I will continue to use and enjoy! Give it a try if it sounds like something you may enjoy too.

Great hair mask

I am 28 with bleached blonde , very damaged hair that goes to my mid back. My hair is lacking moisture, is dry and breaking. Between washes my hair looks dull, gets knotted and looks flat. I am trying the L'Oreal Metal Detox Hair Mask with high hopes as I have a lot of products in the line and love them. The mask had a great scent right from opening. Smells like a salon and very high quality. The texture reminded me of a thick pudding. When I applied this to my hair I put it in my hair after squeezing the water out and I did not need a lot to get this to saturate my hair. I put my hair up for a few minutes while I finished the rest of my routine then rinsed out While rinsing out, my hair felt silky and soft. I found afterwards my hair was easier to brush and looked shinier. Once dry my hair looked shiny and healthy and I noticed less fall out. My curls and waves looked defined and bouncy. I love this and is going to be added to my weekly mask rotation.

I really like this hair mask, works really good, has a great texture and leaves my hair hydrated, soft, shiny and looking beautiful also has a really good fragrance. I received as a part of an education promotion

Real detox in one minute

This hair mask brought my hair back from the dead — like a full-on resurrection situation. I left it on for just one minute, and boom — instant miracle! I can only imagine what would happen if I left it on longer… probably grow a whole new personality. Bonus points for the smell — it’s like my hair just got back from a spa vacation. Highly recommend!

A must have!

I have been using the L'Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox Hair Mask for some time now, and it has truly improved how my hair feels and behaves. The texture is creamy and smooth, spreading easily from roots to ends and rinsing out without any residue. After each use, my hair feels noticeably softer, smoother, and healthier. It also adds a lovely shine that makes my hair look freshly styled even when I let it air dry. The scent is clean and reminds me of a salon, which makes using it feel like a small luxury at home. I also love that it helps with dryness and leaves my ends looking stronger and less frizzy. It does not weigh my hair down or make it oily, just leaves it soft and refreshed. It has become a staple in my weekly hair care routine, especially when I want my hair to feel revived and well cared for.

After using this product the last week my hair has felt much softer and has been less frizzy. I love the way it makes my hair feel and it is very easy to apply and use.

Definitely will be repurchasing

I did not expect to love this as much as I do. My hair has been through a lot with color heat and damage so I needed something that could actually help it recover. The Metal Detox hair mask made my hair feel stronger softer and smoother after the very first use. It feels thick and creamy but it does not make my hair greasy or heavy. After rinsing it out my hair feels light shiny and healthy. Most repair masks leave a coated feeling but this one just feels clean and natural. The scent is soft and fresh and reminds me of a salon treatment. It is a little pricey but it lasts a long time and the results are worth it. My hair looks and feels so much healthier now.

Brittle hair hero

I have 4c low porosity hair that seems to love breaking off with the slightest touch. Using this detox mask has really done a world of good to my hair strength. There's more bounce and shine and it doesn't break off so easy like before. This is my hero

Smooth, flowy, glassy result

My hair is color treated, and really dry. I also have fine hair, so it easily gets weighed down by products. I was previously trying to use other hair hydrating products, but often found that many weighed my hair down. I love how lightweight this hair mask feels, and doesn't weigh the hair down at all. I actually found that it helped decrease buildup (that I didn't even realize it could've been a factor of my dryness). Using this product, I also found that it helped decrease breakage and reduce my frizz. It has overall helped control my frizz and hydrated my hair giving it a glossy texture. Though I don't normally mind fragrances, I did find that the scent was pretty mild. I've previously found that some conditioners can feel like I've “not put enough,” but I found that with this a little really goes a long way. It leaves your hair silky and smooth, but light and flowy! I really love this hair mask and an really glad to have gotten it in exchange for this review because its made a noticable difference.

Wonderful on dry damaged hair!!

Honestly I was a bit skeptical on whether this would work on my dry, damaged, color-treated hair when nothing else had made any noticeable difference. I've been using L'Oreal Metal Detox for about a week now & have really noticed a difference! I had so many split ends and frizziness that I've just about given up on finding a fix. Metal Detox was easy to use...Most products require a longer application time which with my busy life, I rarely had time to commit. Metal Detox only required you to apply it on damp hair & wait one minute! The scent was pleasantly citrusy and it left my hair really soft & smooth even after drying. I guess my water did have a lot of metal in it & this worked it's magic! You could see from my before & after pics the difference Metal Detox had made! I received this for educational purposes in exchange for my honest review.

Not something I'd use again :(

I really wanted to like this mask, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for my hair at all. I have curly hair, and after using the Metal Detox Mask, my curls completely lost their usual softness and definition. My hair felt extremely dry, rough, and frizzy — it was like all the moisture had been stripped away. I understand that it’s supposed to be a detox treatment to remove buildup and metals, but for me, it was way too drying. After using it, my normal curly hair routine didn’t work at all — the products I usually rely on for hydration and curl definition just sat on my hair and didn’t absorb. My curls looked frizzy and lifeless. I ended up washing my hair again the next day with my regular shampoo and conditioner and applying my usual mask just to get it back to normal. Overall, it was way too harsh for my curls and not something I’d use again.
