Rated 1 de 5 por Consumer of 34 years de Disappointed in new version of this product I have been an Aveda ... strictly Aveda consumer since 1989 and for the first time in those 34 years I have stepped outside of the brand looking for alternatives. The amount of money I spent on the Aveda brand in those 34 years ...I can only imagine but I know it is significant. My fear when Estée Lauder stepped in was this fabulous brand would lose its way and sway off a path that was no longer rooted in what made it so special. I was assured it wouldn't. Perhaps, I just loved Aveda for what it was that I just can't acclimate to what has changed.

Recently I used the new formula in a steam shower at a local Aveda Spa and I was pleasantly surprised that I now loved it. I knew something had changed with it for the better. The lighter scent it so much more calming than the previous. This is going to be on my purchase list when I am due for new shampoo next.

I read these reviews and was worried about wasting money buying the full sized bottles only to learn that Shampure had changed for the worse, so I opted to buy the travel size in an abundance of caution. I can say that I have not been disappointed. My bottles still have the same wonderful scent and the products have left my hair shiny, soft, and light just like I remember from when I used this before. Maybe Aveda has fixed the probleqmsince the previous reviews, or maybe the previous customers got a "bad batch," but whatever the case I am a happy customer!

After they changed the formula (surfactant) and scent, the shampoo did not clean the hair well and the scent did not linger like before, which I really liked. After a day the scent smelled sour. I stopped using the product. After a few years, I read a reviews and it looked like they tried to improve the new formula by changing the surfactant again and adding more scent so I tried it again. It is still terrible. They ruined a great product. If you are in the business of making shampoo and marketing a specific scent and you change the formula of the shampoo and the scent to provide a sub-standard version of both, why manufacture this at all?

Rated 2 de 5 por Tracy de What has happened to the original Aveda Shampure? The scent has changed as well as the cleansing ability, You have to use a lot more product to get your hair clean. Estee Lauder has destroyed what Aveda was originally, it is shameful. Not only that the Aveda awards are an absolute joke. I am considering moving on to the Virtue line of hair care, sad because I have been an Aveda customer since day one.

Rated 1 de 5 por Sam de Scent changed I used to love love the Aveda shampure scent it worked good it smelled good but these last few times the scent has been absolutely disgusting I can't describe the smell but I almost want to say the smell of pot ( no I don't do that just familiar with the smell from when I was younger ) I can't quite pin point the nasty undertone it now is . There heat protection spray smells the same but worse .In fact I walked into a store the other day and could smell the new signature scent on someone I knew it was Aveda but not in a good way like it used to be . I swapped out my shampoo and conditioner for a different scent and it's obvious they reformulated all products . I won't be buying again until they make some huge announcement they sent back to the old formulation. I'm sad because I have to look for a different company now
