Skin Love Glow Elixir - Sérum hidratante iluminador

I gave to it a second chance and fell in LOVE ❤️

It wasn’t love from the first sight. I bough it spontaneously, used few times and didn’t really like it, didn’t see any nice glowy effect and my skin was dry. I think the reason why it happened is that at that time my skin was dehydrated and needed totally different rich products to mosturize it. This Glow Elixir was sitting in the drawer for long time.. but recently decided to give to it second chance and.... fell in LOVE! Right now is perfect for me. Makes my skin really fresh and healthy. I think maybe it is not a product for winter time, when you fight dehydration issues, as I did that time, but for warm, summer days, if you’re looking for light formula, which will make your skin feel fresh and glowy is great! I love the smell as well, really refreshing.

On my third bottle

Based on the reviews here, people either LOVE this product or almost hate this product. I’m in the “love” category; I’ll explain why, and hopefully I provide experience that helps you figure out which camp you might be in with this product. I’m mid 40s with very dry skin, to the point that I can’t wear foundation and instead use a BB cream. Years ago I could use Smashbox primer, but it’s not right for my dry skin. This Becca product is wonderfully moisturizing, provides a lovely glow, and acts as a flake-fighting, hydrating glue to hold the rest of my beauty products (and I mean “glue” in a good way). The finish is a bit tacky (which I love but others hate, so be aware). After cleansing and moisturizing in the a.m., I apply this (only a little is needed) and follow with the Becca Backlight Primer and then my BB cream. The scent has never bothered me; I’m surprised at the reviews that complain of the scent. Maybe I’m missing that? I’m on my third bottle. I think that for the right customer, this is a fabulous product.

This did nothing for my skin and would clump up. As my day went on it would start to clump on my skin (this is without any make up). I may not of used it properly but would not buy again.

Amazing!

This is by far the best glow serum I've ever had, and I've bought some seriously expensive serums! It makes my skin look gorgeous and glowing without looking oily, and it smells so good that I want to eat it! As soon as I put it on, my skin went from dry and dull to awesome! I don't even wanna put makeup over it because it looks so good!

Yumm!! wish this was a bit cheaper, giving it four stars cause i dont agree with this price point, but will still buy again. This smells delicious and looks so divine on the skin. Really makes u look healthy and nourished.

I do like it

I love Becca products... and this serum is excellent... I use before my primer definitely I feel a difference on my skin after while... I see a lot of negative reviews and I will be paying attention to make sure my review is in accordance with the quality of this product... it’s my first week using and I still like it ...

Not a fan

It’s ok. The salesperson talked me into this. It feels too greasy

waste of money

I used this whole bottle before posting a review. First thing and only great thing about it is it smells good. Ok and 2 I guess it goes on easy and dries quickly. However, it doesn’t seem to do anything for me. Doesn’t make me glow or make my skin look any different. I think it’s a waste of money. Also even though it dries quick, it pills, or beads up. After I put this on and moisturizer my skin feels ok at the beginning but then maybe 2 hours later at the most, it starts to pill or ball or bead up and makes my skin flaky. It’s horrible. I just feel like this is useless and over priced. Will not buy again.

Smells nice, satisfying glow, not for me...

I purchased this elixir under the recommendation of a Sephora employee who offered to help me find a hydrating moisturizer. I thought the scent was very nice, it felt good on my hand, and I took it home and wore it for a couple of days. Believing the Skin Love Glow Elixir would be my new before-bed moisturizer, the initial application felt nice and really did make my face glow without looking oily, but settled in tacky before finally smoothing into something bearable. Within 24hrs, I started breaking out on the tops of my cheeks- an area that is hardly prone to breakouts. After three applications, I couldn't justify the price for the product. I needed an AM/PM moisturizer and after some research, realized this was better suited as a primer than anything. It wasn't a product that I loved. I needed a deep, hydrating product that helped my skin retain moisture. This just wasn't it for me.

break outs

Ok I no it’s cute and smells great and u want it to work cuz it’s pretty or whatever but my skin was PERFECT until I used this as a moisturizer/ primer. I’ve broken out all over my face. So. Sorry it’s not a good buy

Wasn't a fan, didn't notice much of a difference

The look of this product is really cute with the iridescence and pleasant color, but I didn't feel like it made my skin (on face) look that much better (and for some reason when I put it on my neck it made it look WORSE? accentuated every little line!) I also didn't notice much of a change/improvement in skin quality, either. That said, It didn't break me out or dry my skin, so I am giving it 3 stars, very indifferent/neutral about this. I LOVE Becca's First Light Primer so I was/am interested in trying more of their products, but wasn't a fan of this one.

Deja la piel súper glow de verdad, tengo la piel grasa y no me la engrasa nada, queda algo pegajoso pero se va rápido cuando pones después tu hidratante y personalmente me encanta hasta como primer para el maquillaje. Repetiré seguro.
