Liquid side is the best, gel side is not for me

The liquid eyeliner side is so good it makes up for the fact that I don't use the gel side. The liquid eyeliner lasts all day through sweat, tears, and oil. The gel side is hard for me to apply without pulling on my skin

Brown is very different quality than the black

I liked the black liquid liner well enough, although I found the pencil side to be a bit dry and hard to use. But I wanted to tone down my look so I tried the brown instead, and I'm not impressed. Oddly enough, I found the pencil side on the brown to be creamier and easier to apply, but the brown liquid liner is a joke. Whereas the black was a nice, bold, opaque black, the brown is so transparent it's like water color. Hardly visible, even on my very pale skin. Thought it was user error so I tried shaking it up really well, painted several lines on the back of my hand. . . same thing. Very clear and runny.

Wear it all the time

I have to be honest, I haven’t even tried the “liquid” side of this yet. But I’ve gone through multiple of the pencil side and love it. It’s smooth and easy to go on for a quick lined look, and has gotten me through many race days and Disney park days without smudging

Wipes off

This stuff is terrible. As soon as i put it on the corner of my eye it instantly comes off. So waterproof ? Absolutely not. I’ll be returning it.

Hit for liquid, Miss for gel pencil.

The liquid part glides easily and makes it easy to crate a winged look. The gel pencil side dried out and became useless for under eye lining.

Best of both worlds

This is my favorite liner from Tarte and i love it so much I also have the travel size. I originally purchased in black but the brown is my favorite. This works for mature skin especially if your eye lids are not the dryer side. I use the liquid end to do a perfect wing liner and then touch ups with the pencil end. This liner wont budge either it last all day.

Pencil part broke off after one day

Liquid liner is good. Dries fairly fast. The pencil part of it broke off after one day. So rendering this double almost useless since I use liquid on my lids and pencil on my water line. Disappointed. I feel like Tartes products are just as expensive, but starting to lack in quality and where they are made.

May irritate contacts a tiny bit

Goes on really well and doesn't smudge. I love the dual application tips. Highly recommend!

Must-have

Great product! Very convenient to use. It sits firmly on the inner eyelid, but on the outer eyelid it can smear. The second part of the pencil - felt-tip pen = perfect arrows.

Eh

I want to like this liner but I don't. The pencil side does not last long and it is easy to break off when you take off the lid. It also does not stay on my lids all day. The liquid side is fine but not amazing. I will not order this one again.

Product stays on well but not giving it 5 stars because the pencil side will break easily. Will smear all over your hands as well.
