The Uniform Tinted Mineral Sunscreen

I was in the market for a new sunscreen, but like a tint too. I decided to give this a go - I was originally going to try the shade 30 but ended up with 28 which was a bit warmer for my skin. Absolutely love the texture, and the end result is that it looks really natural. It has a nice amount of coverage and hides my blemishes etc.

Brilliant tinted SPF. Colour match perfect for my skin with a tan. I wear on days when i want limited base products on my skin as im in early perimenopause. With this i dont need to use a separate SPF, a primer or base. Evens out my skin perfectly with a natural glow and lasts all day. Doesnt empathise poors. I use my normal skincare routine, letting my moisturiser absorb for about 10 mins before applying. Liquid bronzer blends perfectly over and use the merit blush. 10/10

The product I never even knew I needed!

I had never heard of this product and brand until visiting Sephora. This was reccomended to me by the shop assistant and I love it! Tinted SPF perfect for no make up days and has skincare benefits. I apply it with a foundation brush and dab in with beauty blender for a little coverage, perfect product to cover skin redness on the face which was my main reason for purchase

Great tinted sunscreen

I apply it with my fingers as a sunscreen rather than foundation and it looks great all day under makeup or on its own. For reference I have oily and mature skin.

Nice on its own

I really like it, but it doesn’t work well with some moisturisers, including the Merit one which I love, it leaves some residue on the skin

The best tinted SPF

The best pale girl shade for a tinted SPF, most factor 50s either run too dark or have lots of pore clogging ingredients/ingredients that trigger my rosacea but this has been a game changer

Took a liitle trial and error ...

It has taken a while for me to love this. Getting the base layer right is key. I'm guess Merit's own moisturizer would work but it contains niacamide which doesnt suit my skin. So after some trial and error I'm using a good, basic moisturizer that suits my very reactive skin, leaving it for 10-15 minutes to absorb property, then applying The Uniform. And it's brilliant! Perfect shade and lasts well when applied fairly generously. I avoid the sun anyway so this is easily enough for my sunscreen needs.

Not for oily skin

Not for oily skin... i found this a bit too greasy on my skin.

Amazing tinted sunscreen

Amazing tinted sunscreen! You won’t feel it on your skin! It is perfect for those days when you don’t want to go for a full makeup face but even out your skin tone

Absolutely love this sunscreen tint. Evens everything and goes so well underneath the complexion stick. My new favourite combo.

Sadly not as huge fan of this as had hoped

As a longtime Merit customer I was very excited about this product and couldn’t wait to try it, hoping it could replace my current skin tint (bare minerals’ complexion rescue, tone porcelain) that has lower spf. However, it peels badly when I use it on my moisturiser, I’ve noticed that I have to put it on immediately after moisturiser or it’ll be a clumpy mess. Colour is pretty spot on, was worried it’d be too pale at first but it blends in nicely. However, I’ve noticed it creases badly under eyes and I’ve also gotten slight irritation/dryness now on my under eye skin. I’ll be trialing it the rest of the summer and hoping I’ll get used to it but so far, not entirely convinced.

This a lovely product. Very versatile and gives a lovely skin like finish.
