Wonderful for dry skin

HUGE FAN of Glow Recipe! I am loving this serum! It is a lovely addition to my skincare routine. As a dry skin girlie.. My skin drinks this up and smiles. It hydrates, plumps & calms beautifully. It is so sticky in the bread at possible but doesn't leave my skin sticky. Rather, plumped & glassy. I would recommend to everyone! This serum is top notch.

Eczema Beware

I was so excited to try this out! I don't think the smell is terrible but not as yummy as some of their other products. I have struggled with eczema my whole life and finally got into a good routine that my face loves. It doesn't flake when I stick to my routine. I added this to my routine twice and both times I woke up with extremely flaky skin. It's just not for me unfortunately.

Love, but hate the scent!

I really do love the product itself, but I cannot stand the scent! This is the first time I haven’t liked the scent of a Glow Recipe product. Loved the stickiness of the mucin! I feel like it really sticks to the face and all of its goodness has time to set into the skin.

Great for mature, sensitive skin!

Gifted in exchange for my honest review. I’ve been using Glow Recipe’s Prickly Pear Peptide Mucin Serum for two weeks now and am pleasantly surprised. At 47 with rosacea, my skin is sensitive and picky, but I’ve noticed smoother (plumper) skin and softened fine lines without any rosacea flare-ups. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs incredibly fast with almost no residue (which is something I struggle with from other serums. I hate sticky gooey serums). It layers well under foundation. There is a faint scent, but it’s very subtle and not bothersome. I think if you over apply, you’d find it more pronounced. I also love the hygienic pump packaging and the cute pink bottle, it looks great on my vanity. So, it’s a gentle, rosacea-friendly serum that delivers on the hydration and a healthy, bouncy look promise.

Stretchy texture, love the bounce and glow

What a great product! I love that this has all the benefits of snail mucin, minus the snail part. The same sticky, stretchy fun goodness and hydration that my skin loves. This product leaves my skin bouncy and glowing after applying it, difference I noticed after just a few uses. I love that it has peptides and has no added fragrance too. A MUST for dry, dull skin!

I wasn't a fan of the few products I had tried of Glow Recipe.(They are now discontinued) So I was skeptic going into using this. But I was completely wrong about GR! I love the glow this gave my mature and dull skin. It seems to have plumped my skin and also gave me a hydrated look. I would recommend!

Hydrated and Healthy Looking

The Prickly Pear Serum isn't prickly at all. In fact, it leaves my skin the complete opposite of prickly. I've been using this for two weeks now, and I find myself reaching for it both day and night. After cleansing and using toner on my face, I apply this serum. It's a little sticky due to the mucin but a little goes a long way and it absorbs quickly. My skin is left hydrated and soft. It looks so healthy and radiant. The best part is, my skin is already pretty good, and this doesn't irritate it at all. I haven't had any adverse reactions, no bumps, no itching. I have added this into my daily skincare regimen and will continue to. For reference, I have sensitive, combination skin.

A beautiful, hydrated glow

I've recently been drawn towards peptide products in a bid to help with the slow march towards aging skin; so I was delighted to get the opportunity to test this particular formula. It's still early days, but so far I have really appreciated this serum for its quick absorption, immediate glow, and hydration benefits. The serum isn't overly sticky and layers well with my other skincare. While I can't comment on wrinkle and texture benefits quite yet, I'm excited to see how the product will work over the long term.
