I’m new to primers and finally learned they are needed, especially with my 60 year old skin. But I wish I knew about them years ago. Even with good skincare, a hydrating primer keeps makeup looking sharp all day. Base Tape Hydrating Primer works so well with all of the different foundations I wear. Some days I like a liquid foundation and others I might use a powder foundation. This primer makes everything lay nicely and looking good all day.

I really love this primer as my skin needs hydration because of my age. This primer makes my foundation and blush glide on so much easier.

Mostly Love

I love the smell and feel of this primer and want to give it five stars for those reasons but unfortunately it sometimes clashes with products I use on top of it and beads up which ruins my makeup :(

Very Hydrating

I must say this primer is really hydrating and it feels really nice on your face. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the only complaint having is if you don’t wear a setting powder with your liquid foundation with this alone your face will be super oily in 2 hours (for people with oily skin). I wouldn’t recommend it to somebody with oily skin unless they use setting powder.

I love this primer. It works well for aging skin, is not sticky, and has a very light, pleasant aroma.

I love this primer, it has a delicate scent, it is hydrating with a light texture and feel. After applying my primer, I apply my concealer and powder, which holds up perfectly all day. long.

Pro tip for wasteful container design

Nice primer but be sure to break open the top (just jiggle and pull) to get some extra product when it stops dispensing. I’ve got at least five more applications. I hate containers that waste the product you paid for.
