Not a strong contender

There are definitely pros and cons to this mascara. Cons are: (1) raccoon eyes (2) heavy formula for people who curl their pin-straight lashes. Doesn't hold a curl for folks like us (3) doesn't volumize as much as it suggests it would The pros are (1) defines (2) separates (3) nice wand. Unfortunately, the pros aren't enough for me to recommend this to other people with oily skin or straight lashes.

I'm using this again!

I used to use this mascara and then decided to try a bunch of new ones. After dealing with clumping and smears and trying a least 4 different mascaras over the last two years, I tried this again. Wow! Why did I stop? This is great for my fine lashes. It lengthens them and defines them. I love the look of just using it on my upper lashes. I'm done looking around. I should have saved my money and just stuck with what worked well. I was a victim of advertising and mass marketing. I have to also remember that I am over 50 and don't need 100 layers of mascara. Maybe in my 20's, but not now.:)

great wand

The fact that the wand is very small, it really gets all the short lashes and also the beginning of your top lashes witch for me is huge when applying mascara. The brush is very good and it really makes this mascara. Good job Dior! Worth the $ and worth trying it out!

Love This Mascara!

It's great, especially if you use this as your first coat, then use the Diorshow Black Out as your second coat.

Brush is great for people with fine and/or short lashes. No clumps, no gloop. Washes off easily.

Pls make it waterproof!

wonderful mascara with precision brush! loved it. coats every single one of the lashes. just wish that they have a waterproof version.

a must have!

I don't remember how I found this mascara but it's my favorite! I would have given 5 stars but the price tag makes it so spendy. I haven't bought in a while but will buy it again soon. Made my lashes look voluminous, and full. Felt like I had falsies on!

Love this Mascara

I do t usually wear slit of makeup! I was needing a new mascara and found this even tho it was more than I usually spend for this type of item I tried it, it goes so smoothly and it is even easy to put on your bottom lashes and my eyes don't itch from wearing it and it isn't heavy I really enjoy it.

Dislike

Made my lashes clumpy, as the brush is horrible for separating lashes also made me look like a raccoon in just a couple hours after applying. Returned.

the best mascara

I'm a former makeup artist and this was recommend to me by another makeup artist. The best. The best brush. Worth the price. Thick natural effective. A classic. I use with Shu umera curler.

great for short lashes!

I think anyone who is complaining does not know how to apply mascara properly the first time. If you allow it to dry, there's no going back because it will clump up and give you those weird spider lashes. If you know how to apply the first time, you get that beautiful long look until you remove it. I love it. Sticking with this for a while. :)

Changed the size of my eyes!

I've never had a girl at a makeup counter warn me not to use too much. Usually they love to pile it on to show how far the product can go. I have naturally long eye lashes so I don't use mascara much especially since it's hard to find a good brown one. It really opens up my eyes and makes them pop, my face even looks different when I wear it my eyes become the central focus. Really cool I'm glad I took the dior girls' advice and got this. It's my new favourite toy!
