Face looks hydrated, glowy and beautiful

I have normal skin, not oily, not sensitive and this essence is so perfect to wear under makeup or by itself. It has a pleasant light scent, and you have to shake it before applying to skin. It comes in a luxurious glass bottle, but the dispenser situation makes me feel like I'm wasting product. You have to shake a few drops on your hand and then pat the essence on your face. I get it, and I'm sure this is the optimum dispensing mechanism for essence. But I still feel like I might be wasting product if I don't do it right. A little goes a long way in my experience.

Glowing skin

I've been using this for a few months now and I've never had so many compliments about my skin before! Incredibly hydrating and really helps with my dryer skin. I use this after washing my face and then applying moisturiser on top.

I purchased this product after receiving a sample from Pat McGrath. This is an ideal second step in skincare, after toner and before serum, to help with glow and hydration. To use, you shake the bottle and mix the two liquids together. There is a strong scent of rose, but for me, it's not off-putting. It is very watery when pouring droplets on to your hand and does need immediate application. A few drops applied all over the face really helps boost hydration and allows for other following products to really absorb well. Without using, I notice a huge difference in the luminosity of my makeup, which even shows well through powder foundation with this. It also really helps with plumping up fine lines and stops makeup creasing as badly in my 11 lines. I really love this essence and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin at all, despite the strong fragrance. I'd highly recommend.
