Clinique iD - Base hidratante

What I really like about this is that it evens out the redness in my fair/medium skin. I have combination skin, use a lot of self tanner, and have applied this over my moisturizer. It gives such a beautiful natural finish. I could see were some people might think it has a little bit of an orange hue, but for me that’s not an issue because I’m such a self tanner addict lol. I’ve included some very unflattering selfies to show the effect :) before I added any other make up for the day.

I didn’t like it at first due to the texture and the gray color but the little granules burst into a slight tint as I found out later So I blend it in with my fingertips and I was so shocked on how beautiful it makes my skin look. You just have to work in circular motions lightly to make the product work..and it’s also a pretty product if you just want a slight warmth to your skin or sun kissed glow

I don't wear a lot of foundation but wanted something to even out skin tone. This product works great for me. Gives just a hint of color and evens skin tone. Works well on my mature skin.

Gives you a healthy, natural glow !

I love this tinted moisturizer ! I am 59 years old, have a very light complexion and combination skin (a bit dry on the cheeks and under my eyes, but still have a slightly oily T-zone). After cleansing my face, I always use Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Lotion followed by a light touch of Clinique Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator Moisturizer (great stuff for either dry or oily skin). I wait a few minutes for it to soak in and then apply the Dramatically Different Moisturizing BB-Gel Tinted Moisturizer. It spreads easily and gives my skin a hint of warmth so I don't look so pale. However, it blends easily so I don't get that dark line under my chin. My skin has a healthy glow and my age spots are less visible. Plus, my skin is super soft, supple and smooth. For people like me who do not like to apply CC creams or heavy foundations, this is perfect !!!

Excellent product.

I wear this product as a daily routine after my Cerave daily AM moisturizer lotion and it looks great and feels good on my skin. I have a mixed type skin. The Clinique product is excellent because it gives you like a very fine delicate look without using an actual foundation and without feel the need to fully wear make up. I used my blush, eyeshadow , lipstick and mascara on a daily basis. This type BB gel gets your skin tone without having to pick a color type skin so it is used in any color skin. The size of this product can last up to a 6 to 8 months using it mostly everyday. I am very happy with it. Will buy it again and again.

Tried it on my hand in the store and it turned orange, I decided to get it anyway. I have fair light skin and red blemishes on my cheeks. It blends well with my skin, it doesn't cover up my blemishes but does even out my skin tone and also makes me look a bit tan. I can't even feel it on my face while using.

Not for me

As a long time Clinique user I was all set to love this product. I do love the way it looks on my skin but within a short time my face feels dry. It does not have the lasting effect of the yellow DD moisturizing lotion+.

From the reviews, I got the vibe that this is a moisturizing bronzer of sorts. And if you have light-medium skin, that’s exactly what it is. I wasn’t expecting anything more, so I’m happy with it since that’s what I was looking for. For reference, I wasn’t looking for an actual tanner, just something that moisturizes to give me a sun kissed glow in the winter and that is exactly what this does without making my skin look splotchy.

Sticking to the instructions makes it work

This isn't a product that would normally interest me, but I received a small sample at some point and decided to try it. When I came online to order a full size I was shocked by all the negative reviews because it had worked so well for me. First, I used a moisturizer before applying the BB gel because I use very little of the gel itself. Rubbing between the fingers, as instructed, makes all the difference. This stuff really helps blur imperfections and evens out skin tone, even with using such a small amount. Since receiving the full size I have been forgoing any other BB cream or foundation, and I've gotten several compliments. Especially notable since I'm 67. So, really, try warming the product between your fingers and then pat it on. Hopefully, you will have as positive an experience as I have enjoyed.

Compré esta hidratante junto con el concentrado de ácido salicílico. Al principio la notaba como una hidratante más, eso sí, a las imperfecciones no les hacía nada de nada. Últimamente tenía demasiados granos y no mejoraban aunque usara un suero que anteriormente (con otra hidratante) me había dejado la piel impecable. Además, notaba la cara súper grasa y nada mas ponerme la crema tenía toda la cara brillante y con sensación grasa. Fue cambiar de hidratante, nada más, y en dos días ya se me han ido todos esos granos y tengo la piel más mate que nunca, lo que me lleva a concluir que era todo por esta basura de crema.

only for darker skinned people

So.. it shows a mixture of skin tones on the packaging, including pale skin shades, but it will only work for darker skin tones, that’s my only bone to pick with it. Kinda sad I wasted my money when it’s supposed to work for all skin shades, but in reality it doesn’t. Just letting y’all know!
