Light, fragrance free lotion; simple, reliable use

I've been using The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Inulin Body Lotion for a week now, and I'd say it's been pretty good as a daily moisturizer. It’s not too thick, more like a lotion than a cream, and it absorbs really quickly without that tacky feeling. It’s also good for layering, and I like that, as I find it helps to really lock moisture in, especially for dry areas like elbows. My skin feels good and balanced throughout the day, not greasy at all. Bonus points: it’s fragrance free, so I don’t have to worry about it interfering with anything else I’m using. Cons: it’s almost too simple, as in, I don’t know how well it would work for really dry skin types, as it might not be enough on its own. And, it doesn’t give me that instant "wow, I'm looking amazing" effect. But, it’s good, it’s simple, and it works well. Easy 4 stars. complimentary from The Ordinary

Nice application

I like this product overall. I am not a huge lotion user I’ll be honest. I use it after a shower. It isn’t sticky and it is easy to apply and rub in. It feels hydrating as I do have very dry skin in the wintertime months. It is unscented which is okay. I do prefer scented products but unscented is fine as I can wear my perfumes and it won’t clash.
