Super moisturizing!

Okay, so I'm determined to clear my discoloration and keep my blemishes away. I received this product complimentary from The Ordinary, which was perfect. I have a whole skincare routine dedicated to my discoloration throughout my body, but I've never had a serum like this! I use this at night before bed, once I remove all of my makeup, or even just to ensure my skin doesn't dry out or break out overnight.

great for bad skin

I’ve been using The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% for my congested skin, and honestly it’s one of those products that quietly does the job over time. My pores looked clogged, especially around my nose and chin, and I had those tiny bumps that never fully turned into pimples just texture. The serum itself is lightweight, water-based, and absorbs quickly, though it can feel a little tacky for a minute. No fragrance, no irritation for me, which I love because my skin can be picky. After a couple of weeks, I noticed my skin looked less oily and way less congested. The little bumps started flattening out, my pores looked cleaner, and I wasn’t waking up as shiny. It didn’t magically erase everything overnight, but it definitely helped regulate oil and prevent new clogged pores from forming.
