Chemical smell and terrible applicator

I was done from the smell and the applicator. If you have lines on your lips, it will sink into them. Looks horrible... but again the smell, the smell is so bad. Smells like chemicals.

I loved this product but after a couple uses the applicator smells like mold. if they remade this product with a different applicator I would buy it!

Like some of the other reviewers, I really loved it. It gave a beautiful lip stain look, but after a few uses it started to have a terrible, rank smell. To the point that I had to throw it out.

Initially i really liked it, it was a super flattering color on my skin and lasted so long! But then after a couple of times using it, i noticed a really really bad scent coming from it and was very turned off. If Tarte could fix that issue, I’d absolutely buy it again!

Beautiful, natural pink color (Lolli) that lasts

It's the perfect natural pink color. It's me, but amplified. It keeps my lips moist and soft. And lasts a really long time. The only downside is the packaging--sometimes I accidentally click the bottom to let out more product when I don't mean to.

Rancid Odor After a Week of Use

I purchased the lip stain, and while the color is lovely, after about a week of use it developed a strong rancid odor. It smells like the product spoiled. Unfortunately, this makes it completely unusable and I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Used only a couple of times and then it smelled AWFUL! Do not buy. There is something wrong with this product

Don’t buy

I only used twice. It smelled like it had gone bad. The color didn’t last long and it transfer a bit in the inner corner of the lip. Not recommend I purchased this on my own and I will stick to the Maybelline lip stain as is cheaper and last longer.

Great color, terrible applicator smell

Love the color. It looks so natural on my lips. Just what I was looking for for. However, the smell of the applicator is unbearable. I kept it because of the stain color but I have to pinch my nose everytime I apply. I hope they address this issue and make changes. color but I

Just plain smells bad!!

I am not sure but this feels like it's water-based and not preserved well. It smells like nasty water that's been sitting out for a long time! I liked the color when I first saw it, but it just flat out STINKS! I can't even wear it again. I threw it in the trash because I could not tolerate it.

hard to use

Good coloring and feels fine on lips but is so hard to get any ink out. Tip if you do buy it shake it a bit and make sure it’s pointed down.

Wanted a lip stain so I wouldn’t have to worry about reapplying. After a couple weeks it lost its ability to stain and started to smell like dirty laundry. Super strange.
