Yuck.

Gloopy, uneven and although I adore the color (Mai Type) it's impossible to wear., it smears and doesn't last. The container also fell apart in my purse! Really unacceptable.

The first day I wore this lip stain I got a ton of compliments. When you first apply it is glossy over time it settles into a lovely stain that lasts. I eventually went and got another color and will probably get more.

Great but messy

I started using this product four years ago! I use it basically everyday and have only had to purchase twice. It leaves such a nice stain. With that being said it gets extremely messy (and stained some of my summer Fridays lip balms). I also wish it came in more “everyday” shades. Even though I love this product I think I will try something else next time!

THE LONG LASTING LIP COLOR IVE BEEN WAITING FOR! Ok, I didn’t expect this one but absolutely love this. It packs a punch with color and if applied correctly, lasts forever. If you apply a lot of this at once, it will stay wet and smudgeable for a while. I like to apply in very thin layers that dry quickly and then it lasts very easily through meals, drinks, and kisses. But even better, it does NOT dry out your lips. Also I have applied chap stick over the top after it has dried and it does not reactivate the color to be smudgeable, which is big for me. Will be buying again.

Very staining

Great that it’s hydrating and staining, but you will need a really good makeup remover otherwise for the next day you will look like you have red wine stains on the dry parts of your lips. I wouldn’t recommend color Gem and I for red hair and fair skin. It didn’t look right.

My fav ever

GORGEOUS STAIN! Absolutely obsessed and dries relatively quick but applies smooth. Stays for a hot minute even when eating. Recommend. Also, after ot stains it leaves a slightly smooth base so its never cakey.

Didn’t work for me

Gorgeous color. The stain stays on my lip outline, but doesn’t dry down fast enough to stay in center of lips. It’s also not comfortably hydrating. I feel like the brand maybe could do these separately more effectively. I’m returning this. I found another stain that works awesome and can withstand a hydrating clear layer over top, as well. This is worth trying, to see if it does better for you.

The Best For Dry Lips

Fabulous!! I have lips that are incredibly dry due to allergies and an autoimmune disease. I've tried SO many lip tints, stains, liners, and tints over the years and most of them last 30 minutes &/or get dry and cracked. This lovely lip stain goes on smoothly and lasts for several hours. "Several hours" for most people may not sound like much but for me - it's incredible! I've been on a recent journey to try everything that's received great reviews: And this never looks cracked or weird.

Effective stain, no good colors for me

Pros: This actually stains. Even when I try to remove it with micellar water, color is left behind. Cons: Not a single color in the line works for me. I have light neutral/slightly olive skin. I've tried four colors and each one looks overly bright on me and makes my skin look more grey. If Fenty came out with some slightly earthier or more muted colors like a dirty peach or rust I would buy it for life. As is I've wasted a bunch of money on colors that make me look ill. I could see this product working for someone with different undertones.

It is a pretty color but, at least for me though, it doesn’t work like a lip stain. It doesn’t last long at all and the color is very transferable. Unfortunately I never wear it and wouldn’t recommend it.

Best Stains Ever!!

After reading the reviews I decided to take the plunge and I bought both Mai Type and Strawberry Sangria. Some reviews said no staining power and patchy. I couldn't disagree more! The stain is highly pigmented and as long as you hydrate your lips and prep them. these are beautiful! stacked them against other stains I recently purchased and these are on top of my list!

Gorgeous color, very long-lasting stain

This is the most gorgeous color, you need to try it to see how beautiful it is-- very flattering, a warm bright red, and that's coming from a "I'm not a red-girly". I'm hooked. It goes on shiny but dries down quickly. I apply and wipe it off in 2-3 mins and the stain is unreal, lasts until the next day. I love kissing my baby and I also love having color on my lips, so lipstick/gloss/balm is out of the question. THIS STAIN HITS ALL THE RIGHT SPOTS. And I've tried many.
