Expensively bad

I got this as a pick and mix sample and I'm so glad I tried before buying, dried out my hair horribly and made my blonde look brassy. Not impressed.

Saved my pandemic hair! I normally get keratin treatments but didn’t want to be inside a salon for hours - this mask is helping me make it through.

Pricey but happy with the results

I have thick wavy/curly hair which isn’t chemically treated, but can get dry and a bit coarse. I was looking for a product that’ll make my hair feel softer and silkier, so after reading some great reviews on Shu Uemura, I was curious to try out this hair mask. I leave this on once a week for 25-30 minutes in the shower, then towel dry and blow dry my hair. This did make my hair shinier, softer and more manageable without weighing it down. The results were similar to the mask I was using previously (Briogeo’s Don’t Despair, Repair) but I like this a bit more since the consistency is thicker and my hair did feel silkier. I’m not sure yet if I’ll repurchase once it runs out but I’m leaning yes since it was effective and the tub will last a while. Worth trying if you’re willing to spend a bit more to treat your hair, but there may be other masks that give similar results at a lower price point.

Great conditioning treatment for dry hair

Excellent product. Perfect when used after the shampoo in the same line. Smells lovely and makes the hair super soft and shiny.

Great hair mask for dried damaged hair! Love this mask was skeptical about trying it at first because of the price. But a little goes a long way and this product did wonders for my hair on just the first use! :) def recommend for anyone struggling with frizzy over processed hair.

This product has done wonders for my hair. I have naturally brown hair and had been bleaching it for over two years and it was very damaged. I started using this and it has made my hair so strong. It makes your hair so soft and smooth and feel like its even made my hair grow. Would definitely recommend as a reparative mask

Great mask for dyed hair dye to grays

I have been dyeing my hair since I was 26 due to grays and I’m now 40. This mask is the only mask that tames the coarseness of gray hair. It makes my hair super soft and shiny and smooth. I have a very slight wave to my hair when it air dries but this mask makes it so manageable with no frizz. I would recommend following with the Shu Oil after and the olaplex leave in cream. Honestly I hate gray hair but this makes it feel like it’s actually my natural brown hair.

Use this every time I wash my hair. Literally is the holy grail!! Expensive but worth every penny as a little goes a long way. This tub can last a month ( I hair long bleached hair) I would recommend you also use the essence absolue oil after the mask, as you will see the best results. I promise you won’t look back.

A MUST for dry, damaged, brittle hair!!!

My hair has been through so much the past few months from extreme bleaching. My hair was dry and breaking off. I have used a lot of hair masks but none compare to this one. From the first use you can immediately see and feel a difference. Excellent product and game changer! I only wish I would have bought sooner!

Underwhelmed

It’s a great product- sure. Is it worth $70? Absolutely not. I’ll be returning it. The Verb Ghost, Moroccan Oil, Ouai, and Briogeo masks all yield comparable results at a much better price point.

Worth the money

I have never spent over £30 for a hair conditioner/treatment but every Shu product I’ve ever tried has been fab, so gave it a go. So glad I did- makes a huge difference with just 15 mins soaking time. Really soft, easy to manage hair every time, and smells divine but not overpowering.
