Wow! I received a generous sample from an order I placed elsewhere. I was blown away by this and will be purchasing full size! This smoothed everything out and made my skin so soft! It is not over the top shiney just looks so natural! I a light to medium cool tone normal skin and the light color is perfect for me! It sinks into my skin and just looks natural. This is well worth the price! This will be a staple in my routine! Thank you for giving a generous sample to be able to really try the product!

This magical elixer, found them a new brand stan

I actually received a few samples of this from an order elsewhere, and now I’m on this website to buy the full size version. I wish I could have used this in my younger days, because when applying it, if you work it into your skin… pores? What pores! I have never found something with any kind of shine to it, that then also manages to blur/mattify my pores, while also being silky smooth and nourishing. The sadness of a missed opportunity in my youth, stems from sun damage. I don’t dare ever put makeup on, without applying foundation first. I don’t have their foundation (yet), because I’m wary about online shade-matching, but I’ve tried this over my Estée Lauder foundations, and it blends beautifully (better over the hydra, but I think that’s more on the foundation than this). As a primer it works incredibly well, but having combination dry/normal or normal/oily skin depending on the season (it’s warmer now, so the latter), I did have to mix it with a grippy primer for my oily areas. I found that skipping it as a primer in my oily areas, and using it atop foundation worked much better. By itself, it isn’t an issue. It gave me a glow that looked like a combination of youthful vigor and ethereal goddess. I cannot praise this product enough! I’m generally skeptical about whether something is worth its price compared to similar products at a lower price point, from still reputable and good quality brands (drugstore brands do NOT fit this category), or if they’re really marketing the brand itself… and this is not about the brand. They made a genuinely phenomenal product, that only further lifts the name of the brand! I had never paid them any mind until now; I had the high-end brands I preference for various cosmetic and skincare needs… but now I will certainly be giving more of their products a try! I mean… worst case scenario if I don’t like it, I’ll have beautifully packaged makeup, that someone will collect a century from now to record holograms of them trying on, haha! Thank you, Valentino product development, for creating magic with this one.

A MUST HAVE!!

This is literally one of the best illuminating primers I have ever used!!! It’s so pretty I’m in love with this, it blurs and it makes the face super smooth and hydrated but glowy!! I love it!! I want the other colors now!

It adds a completely different dimension to my makeup look. I have been using it under foundation to add a little brightness to my face, and it does not disappoint. I definitely recommend for those who love illuminator, or want to try something new in their routine!

I really love this as my base! A very minimal sparkle within my skin which will be amazing in the summer! The packaging is equally as luxurious so you really get your money’s worth. And the hyaluronic acid for a skincare feel is always a yes in my books! (This product was gifted to me)

I was gifted this product by Valentino Beauty in exchange for an honest review. I’ve been using the V-Lighter Primer & Highlighter in the shade Ambra, and I’m obsessed! The formula is super lightweight and blends effortlessly into my skin. I love how it gives a natural, lit-from-within glow without feeling greasy or heavy. I’ve worn it both under foundation and on its own, and it gives me that “glow girl” look either way. Bonus points for the hyaluronic acid—it keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day. Totally a new staple in my makeup bag!
