Ambient™ Powder Brush - Brocha para polvos

I purchased this for my mom who has arthritis and she loves this brush. Very soft and works so well with their ambient light palette. It makes everything look smooth and almost airbrushed.

Why did I wait?

I have been an Hourglass fan for a long time. The Hourglass Palettes call my name every year. I looked at the Hourglass brushes, but I hesitated, I waited. I'm so happy that I finally bought this brush! It's so versatile! Ambient Lighting, blushes, bronzers, this brush works for me! So soft, too!

Buy this.

I love everything about this brush. It feels expensive and it works so well. If you're spending good money on the Hourglass palette's, get the tools that will work best with them!

change the handle!!

Brush itself is great, please elongate this handle!!! I got rid of this brush recently due just to this short handle. When I put it in my brush cup, it kept falling to the bottom and I would forget about it or smush it with other brushes because I couldn’t see it. Otherwise, brush itself is great to full for the ambient powders! So soft and plush

pricey but worth it

I bought this brush for my ambient powder.. i love it coz i can put it in my purse for on the go.. since i have sensitive face i have to choose a nice brush to use but this brush is so smooth and does not hurt my face .. it feels good to use it but the only problem is that its pricey and worth it !

Bristles hurt my face

It’s a beautiful brush, but it hurt my face! I do have sensitive skin, but I couldn’t get over how prickly it felt. I liked the compact size for travel and cute pouch it came in. Sad can’t use

Unreasonably pricy

I bought this brush because all other brushes I used were too harsh on my Ambient Powder palette. The brush is very soft, very gentle on my palette and delicate on my face. It is probably a good travel brush, but not practical to store and find in my brush holder among my other long brushes. For only $16, the Sephora PRO #72 is identically soft, better to store and covers more surface area more quickly than this short and narrow brush which I already returned.

handle could be improved- otherwise perfect brush

There is a flaw with this brush but it’s not significant enough to knock off a star. The flaw is the brush’s handle. Two things about the handle they could improve: 1. The material.. it’s plastic, and it’s inconsistent with the other brushes because the other brushes handles are all metal, but for this price point of this ambient powder brush~ I guess they had to make it plastic in order to sell it for less. 2. The size and shape of the handle is kind of awkward and could totally be improved.. I understand why they made the handle so petite- probably more for aesthetics than anything else because it’s really not very ergonomic, the tapered slim shape of the handle makes it awkward to hold onto at times, difficult to pick up the brush sometimes. Pros: the bristles are divinely soft just like all the other Hourglass brushes. They’re not as densely packed as the other face brushes making this great for buffing. I like that this picks up enough product but doesn’t eat away at product the way I find their other brushes do. I personally feel this is a true multipurpose brush. I’ve used it for powder contours, blush, ambient powders, setting powders, highlighters and I find it to be very convenient and versatile. There is no weak performance in any category, it sculpts my face beautifully, applies blush in a perfect wash, setting powder flawlessly. Best of all it is really fast, I don’t have to sit there and blend forever, this brush just does it so well. It definitely cuts my time down. I definitely would like to pick up a few more so I can rotate them in washing. The little pouch is cute, it’s easy to put the brush in there. I’m kind of sad that they changed the material of the little pouch.. I’ve seen older versions of the pouch and the material looked nicer. Oh well, hopefully this new material is better for the environment, it’s probably just more rigid than the other pouch. Small detail not a huge deal as it doesn’t impact the performance of the brush.

You NEED this brush

I am soooo glad that I purchased this brush! It is so dense and soft. The size is perfect for applying bronzer- not huge like some bronzer brushes. It also comes with a nice little envelope for storage. This makes it easy to put in makeup bag or purse. So happy that I bought this!!

Worth the price because it makes powders perfect

Considering how much I spent on all the Hourglass products I recently purchased, I really didn't want to spend another $40 on their brush. But I kept reading that it was worth it and I didn't want to waste money buying brush after brush that just didn't do the powders justice. And it turns out that this brush really does do a perfect job making the Hourglass powders look stunning. If you're on the fence, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. If you're going to spend the money on the products, invest in the brush.

Perfect for travel

This is a must have brush for me! It is great for your purse or travel bag. Good for bronzer, blush, highlighter, or all over face powders. Easy to clean and LASTS!

Amazing feel!

Love the feel of this brush. I use it for application of my bronzer as opposed to Hourglass mineral veil.. great multi use product and helps product from settling into fine lines!
