This perfume is just amazing! From the luxury packaging to its classic smell. It is just right, not too strong and good for any occasion. Thank you soooooo much Influenster for this new addition to my wife’s perfume collection! This is definitely her new favorite!

Very versatile cologne for men

The scent is very formal and the atomizer has a great spread and the bottle design stands out compared to my other colognes. The versatility is another great feature of this cologne that I love I would definitely recommend this cologne to friends.

Smells like a MAN

Beautiful bottle! I was so excited to get this to give to my partner! It has a very manly smell(haha duh). I would say that it has a cedar wood ish smell. Overall though my partner loves it and. love how it smells on him so great purchase for any man in your life.

A scent that grew on me (and my girlfriends fav)

I was initially quite disappointed in this product, but have since changed my tune. When you first spray this cologne, the first thing I noticed, was a very strong, slightly bitter scent – almost like alcohol. This initial smell deterred me from seeing how the cologne smelled a few seconds or minutes after application. After the initial bitter smell is gone, the cologne fades to a more pleasant sweeter, almost Amber scent. I had my girlfriend review four different colognes that I have in my collection and she said this one was her favorite among them (after the initial smell). Five stars from me!

On the fence

When I first saw that I’d be receiving this I looked up the fragrance and was excited to receive this based on the notes. They seemed to be in line with fragrances that I really enjoy with amber, vanilla, woods, and aldehydes listed. When I first smelled it though I was very disappointed. It smelled like Paco Rabanne or something. Just very generic and unoriginal. I’ve smelled a lot of men’s colognes like this and wasn’t impressed. Didn’t like something in the initial spray. However after it dries down and settles it opens up and I get a nice sweetness from the vanilla. It could almost be a unisex fragrance except for the generic woody notes that are in a lot of men’s colognes. The fragrance is also very strong. One spray on the wrist and I can smell it all around me. It’d be easy to overspray this and give someone else a migraine. Or yourself. All that being said, I think this is a somewhat safe blind buy as long as you spray conservatively. It’s not going to be a unique niche fragrance and smells similar to a lot of men’s fragrances but it’s a clean vanilla woody fragrance with a good bit of spice. I might wear it but personally wouldn’t purchase it. It’s be good for fall but probably too strong for summer and warmer temperatures. Saw someone say they sprayed it 5 times. They must’ve been choking out everyone in a one mile radius.

Sexy, Fun, and Sophisticated

This cologne blends vanilla and cedar to give off those easygoing vacation vibes with a bit of a spicy kick. The vanilla is warm and sweet, making you think of sunny beach days, while the cedar adds a nice, fresh, outdoorsy touch. The spicy twist—maybe a hint of black pepper—adds a cool, masculine edge. It’s perfect for someone who wants a scent that’s relaxed yet interesting, like a casual day out with a touch of adventure. This scent didn’t last as long as I expected it with it being a high end fragrance, but when I took I close smell it was till there.

Great aromatic scent for the night

Im typically one to use scents that are more fruity and “feminine” but I did enjoy this scent. It wasn’t overpowering at all and it lasted all day. I got compliments by how I smelled so good. It had a bit of a warm spicy note to it. It was a great aromatic scent and would most likely wear it for a night out.

Absolutely love this fragrance! A little goes and long way and the scent has good longevity through the day. Ive been wearing this for my daily perfume and have gotten so many compliments. The packaging is beautiful and is the perfect addition to any perfume display!

Smells Like Expensive Sexy Suntan Lotion!

I received this fragrance complimentary from Valentino and Influenster in return for my honest review. Let me start by saying Uomo Born in Roma Rendez-Vous The Gold EDT smells like the most expensive sexy suntan lotion in the world. That suntan lotion has a beautiful warmth to it from the spices and the primary one that sticks out is nutmeg. Then comes in a radiant cedar wood note which pairs perfectly with the solar heat of the suntan lotion note. Followed by a powdery seductive amber lying on a base of waxy lightly sweet creamy vanilla. This is honestly the best solar sunscreen style fragrance for men I’ve ever smelled. This is a very versatile fragrance that can be worn year round. It’s a compliment magnet and it projects for 8 to 10 hours leaving a seductive scent trail people will notice. The bottle is also stunning and the atomizer is great too. I think this might be the best design release of this year! I give this my highest recommendation!

What a great fragrance! Well, not entirely similar to the rest of the Born In Roma line, this is a nice departure. It’s got way more vanilla and it’s a bit more of a fall/winter scent. Regardless of that, you could definitely wear this on a warm evening. For an EDT, it’s also quite strong.
