Had used the product couple times and I am in love. Leaves my skin feeling so smooth yet clear. The scent is not too overpowering which I like.

Average results for me...

I used the mask this very morning after a bad night, as I wanted to really put it to the test and see what it would do for my dull and tired (4 hours sleep) complexion. I already used some last week on an evening and didn't see much of a difference. And today, just like the previous time, I did get that tiny bit of luminosity but again my cheeks were left feeling slightly dry and tight (for reference I have dehydrated, oily skin). What I did like about it, and not seen in many other masks before, is the tone of the mask...it's got a gold/bronze hue in it and actually looks pretty stunning. Definitely not the plain black charcoal I was expecting! A little goes a long way too and it washes off fairly easily. Smells like honey meets 'citrus coke', unusual but I like it. However as a mask it doesn't do anything significant for me, for texture, blemishes or for pores, and that's surprising considering there are a number of good ingredients in here. Best mask ever. I use masks every other day and I like ones from origins, Clinique, Peter Thomas Roth and other luxury brands. Glam glow masks can be a little harsh. THIS MASK IS THE BEST! It detoxes like the Kiehls clay mask but doesn’t dry. It makes my skin glows and smooth like the caudalie detox mask but also kind of seems to even skin tone a little more and helps my products absorb after. My trick is use a hot wet washcloth after washing with a gentle cleanser to open up pores and soften skin, Pat dry very lightly, then use a brush to apply this mask everywhere but lips and eyes, leave on for 20-30 mins as I blow dry my hair, then wipe off with a warm wet washcloth and apply my serums, lotions and makeup!

I’m a huge fan of the regular charcoal mask from origins so I thought I’d give this a try. It is one of the WORST smelling beauty products I’ve ever encountered. Usually I finish up products and then don’t buy them again to avoid wasting money but I am debating throwing the entire thing away.

I have sensitive combo skin, and this has worked wonders to purify and give my skin a healthy glow. It’s not overly drying and doesn’t strip your skin after washing. The scent is a sweet honey, which could be strong if you’re sensitive to scents. The texture is thick and a little goes a long way with this mask. It’s grey with gold specs in color. I definitely recommend this for oily/combo skin or someone who only needs help decongesting pores and Help clear skin. This mask doesn’t give immediate results or a drastic change for the price point but it’s worth trying if you have large pores or blemishes.

NON DRYING OR STRIPPING MASK

I have always been a fan of charcoal masks after my first - Boscia's Luminizing Black Mask. However, I have found peel off masks to be really drying for my sry and sensitive skin. So when I got this charcoal and honey ash-off mask, I was super excited to try it. I have tried to original version without the honey in it, and found that to be a little too drying on my skin, so this reformulation with a humectant like honey had me super intrigued! And i was right - this didn't feel tight on my skin after applying and neither did it feel too stripping after washing off. It left my skin with a natural glow and definitely brightened it as well over time (I noticed the brightening after 3 uses). The scent (a sweet honey) and texture (thick, jet black in the jar and a transluscent grey with a hint of gold/metallic colour on my face) were also added bonuses and really made me enjoy the experience of using this mask. I would, however, probably not purchase this mask at the current price point, because I don't think it did anything too special. There are other masks in the market that do similar things at a better price point and show results faster than this one. I love other Origins products, but this one isn't a total hit for me. Maybe it would work better on oily, acne prone skin that needs help with decongestion and shrinking of blemishes.

Purifying & Nourishing

I love this mask. Compared to Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Mask, this one adds golden wildflowers and fermented honey to help nourish skin. It minimizes my pores as well as hydrates my skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin. My skin feels refreshed, soft and smooth. Because of its ingredients, it has a strong scent that somewhat bothers me. I prefer a version that has lighter scent.

I received this product complementary and exchange for my honest opinion. I like the way this mask smelled and felt on my face. When I apply the mask to my face it had like a little golden shimmer to it, I think that's because of the honey. I like the way how my face felt afterwards. My face felt soft and hydrated. I noticed after a couple of days there was a few breakouts, but that is normal for me when I try any new product. Overall I gave this four out of five stars because it took a while for the mask to dry on my face even though I put a very thin amount.

I'm a huge fan of origins and I really like this mask, however, it did not work for me as my skin reacted a little bit. BUT, I tried it on my boyfriend and OMG his skin was sooooo smoth and nourished afterwards that he loved it and asked me to order him one! It does what it promises and keep in mind that it didn't work for me, personally, but IT CAN FOR YOU, because it did for my bf. Would I recommend to a friend? Of course. P.s: the smell is something i'd change because honey has a strong smell!

Works wonders!

I really love this mask. I rarely rave about skincare products but this one shows results immediately. My skin is literally so clean and glowing after I use this. I would recommend opening your pores with a hot towel prior to using this for more effective results.
