Pure sophistication

I've wanted to try Loewe fragrance for a while but never got round to it until now but I'm so glad I did. As soon as I opened I had high expectations, from the classy but understated outer packaging, to the classy glass bottle with engraved wooden lid, it just looked impressive. I opened it and let my wife smell it and honestly the words that came out of her mouth were "it's smells like sophistication". Having worn it myself for a few weeks now I have to agree and I get so many compliments from people at work. It's supposed to smell like patchouli and amber, well I have no idea what those smell like, but this fragrance smells amazing. It's strong too, not enough to be overpowering but enough to last all day and be noticed by people you're around in a good way. So yes it's expensive but you don't use loads so it'll last a long time. Try it, you won't regret it.

A new one for the shelf

Trying Loewe Esencia Elixir was a bit of an unexpected experience for me. At first spray, it wasn’t what I imagined—there’s a depth and earthiness that feels grounded but not heavy. The patchouli and vetiver come through in a way that’s both fresh and smoky, giving it this layered, almost meditative quality. It’s not flashy or loud, but it stays with you, like a quiet confidence that reveals itself over time. What really stood out was how the scent felt natural and understated yet distinctive—something you wouldn’t wear just to fill space but to add subtle character to your day. The bottle’s design, with that green glass and wooden cap, somehow echoes that feeling—simple, elegant, and thoughtful. It’s not a fragrance that demands attention but one that quietly makes an impression, fitting for someone who values nuance and a bit of mystery.

Signature Scent Material

This really, really impressed me from unboxing to spritzing. The bottle’s design exudes luxury. The first spritz opens with a bold, earthy patchouli that feels rich and clean. It’s instantly grounding and masculine, but never overpowering. It gives off an elegant, confident vibe right from the start. As it wears, the leather note slowly comes forward, and it’s incredible. Deep, smooth, and refined, it adds a richness that lingers into the evening. The vetiver adds a green, dry backbone, while the amber softens everything with a gentle warmth that clings to the skin in just the right way. The scent is bold without being loud, masculine without being aggressive. I find it perfect for the evening, but it absolutely works for daytime wear too. It feels elevated, like you’ve made an effort even when you haven’t. I’ve had a few people ask what I’m wearing, and my friends have been complimentary. If you’re after something elegant, warm, and masculine with real character, this is well worth trying. It feels like a signature scent in the making. Overall, Esencia Elixir EDP is perhaps the fragrance that has most stood out to me this year. It gets a solid five stars.

easy crowd pleaser

this fragrance is an easy 10/10. first spray was weak and not true to a tual scent. sprayed a few times and left it for 2 days to macerate and was blown away the next try. insanely long lasting (7-8 on my skin) and on clothes will last for DAYS. nice alternative to Creed Aventus Absolutely with more woody woody fresh notes. will be purchasing this after it's used. easy to wear frag that is always a crowd pleaser and grabs compliments left and right

Amazing perfume

If you’re into bold, rich, masculine scents—this one’s a banger. Loewe Esencia Elixir is deep, woody, herbal, and super elegant. It projects a grown-up, classy vibes with a sexy twist. The packaging is also very classy and elegant, unlike your other big brands perfume. I think overall although it’s at a pricy end but I think it does worth the price!

Long lasting delightful fragrance

A fantastic product, if you’re looking for a long lasting, strong scent, look no further. It arrived on time and a soon as I opened the packaging you could instantly smell the aroma of this high quality aftershave. Whether you want it for a casual day out with friends or a smell to impress the women, this is a great product for all occasions.

Classy yet fresh

Very upmarket and classy smell. Refreshing yet formal. Very similar smell to creed aventus but much cheaper. I like the form factor and slim bottle design. 100% a top 5 fragrance for me. Perfect for day and night.

Amazing perfumes

This scent is so amazing! I love the smell of my favourite note of wood and patchouli. Very intensive, great for night out. Definitely number 1 for perfumes for formal out. Great value for money. The packaging is very stylish and great to store bottle. Definitely perfect projection of perfumes when everyone asks what’s that smell.

Unoriginal, Uninspiring, Unwanted

Loewe Esencia Elixir EDP definitely packs a punch, with a strong, lasting signature that won’t disappear halfway through the day. The quality of the ingredients is there, and it feels refined, but the scent itself comes off as unenthusiastically unoriginal—it leans heavily into a classic, woody barbershop vibe I’ve smelled many times before. For the price, I’d hoped for something more distinctive or modern rather than just powerful.

Summer scent

One of my better summer fragrances. It smelt a bit chemically upon the first spray but that quickly died down and it durned very fresh and perfect for summer. The packaging is great and the bottle and cap feel very high quality.

What a scent

I didn't know what to expect with this. I'm completely unfamiliar with the brand. I can honestly say that it doesn't disappoint! To say it's a standout fragrance is an understatement, I've never smelt anything like it before, and judging from the compliments, not that many people have!
