I have fine, long, bleached hair that gets weighed down easily and can get greasy quickly, so I’m always looking for a shampoo that can strengthen my hair, reduce breakage, and keep it feeling soft and healthy without adding heaviness. This shampoo has quickly become a favorite because it really delivers. The fresh, spa-like scent makes washing my hair feel like a luxurious experience, and it leaves my hair smelling amazing without being overpowering. The lightweight, gentle formula doesn’t dry my hair out or weigh it down, and I can go longer in between washes. After using it for a few weeks, I’ve noticed my hair feels stronger, more resilient, and much more manageable. I’ve even received compliments on how soft and healthy my hair looks, which has been amazing. If you have fine, fragile, or color- treated hair, this shampoo is a great way to maintain strength, shine, and softness while keeping your hair healthy, clean and smelling amazing.

I like the scent and the design however I have not noticed a difference after a month of use

I’ve been using the Shu Uemura Izumi Tonic Shampoo for several weeks, and the difference in hair strength is noticeable. It has a very lightweight feel when washing, but it cleans deeply without stripping or making the scalp tight. My hair dries smoother with less breakage around the ends, and it pairs especially well with a simple conditioner. The scent is clean and subtle, not heavy. If you’re dealing with fragile strands or regular heat styling, this feels like a strengthening shampoo that actually does something

Clean and gentle

That I am postpartum, I appreciate that this is a shampoo made for fragile hair. Overall, it cleans my hair and does not leave a thick residue. I do wash twice to be able to get out of the shower feeling like I have a clean scalp.

Smells good.

This shampoo smells good & gives me a good clean wash. I feel like it really helps strengthen my hair from the inside out. It is fairly expensive, so Im not sure I would go out of my way to purchase it, but it was good to recieve it & review it.

Great shampoo

The formula has no color, and the scent is honestly so nice It lathers really well, and I’ve noticed my hair feels stronger since I started using it. I feel like it’s really been helping my hair look and feel better. I’m definitely going to keep using it to see how it works long-term. Loving it so far!

I’m not sure what the fragrance is but it smells good to me. I used it just like my other shampoo. Rinses out well. Not a lot lather. Leaves my hair feeling soft .

Change to My Hair Texture

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I am someone that double shampoos, so my routine for the past several weeks has been a round of Nizoral, followed by this volumizing shampoo. And yes, I can actually feel the difference in my hair texture. It does seem to give more body, even when I am just air-drying after a shower. It takes several months to truly confirm if a hair product is effective, but thus far I am satisfied.

Thickens Very Fine Hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] After using the Izumi Tonic Strengthening Shampoo for a few weeks, I can tell a noticeable difference in reduction of my split ends and hair thickness for my very fine hair! This is a thick, clear shampoo with a great scent. It lathers really well and comes in an easy to hold bottle. I only need a quarter size amount to wash my shoulder length hair. I am looking forward to purchasing the conditioner that goes with it to see if it makes even more of a difference.

Just okay

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The product smells nice and is a thick, jelly like consistency. I didn't notice a huge difference in thickness, but hair was a bit drier (so maybe giving the illusion of thicker hair?).
