This is the holy grail leave in mask and heat protector. Super light. Leaves hair super soft even after just 1 use.

Been using this leave-in mask for a few months, and the results are clear. My long, curly hair feels stronger, softer, and much smoother without getting weighed down. It actually helps repair damage and keeps my curls defined and manageable. Definitely worth it if your hair is dry or damaged.

Must have for over-processed hair!

Recently went full head highlights on year grown out hair. My hair was VERY healthy. Stylist even commented on how easy it would be to lift because of the health. Well, that’s all gone now. I’ve been getting highlights for over 20yrs. Have always been blonde (naturally and with highlights) but have always kept the integrity of my hair. I have never had my hair fried this bad, to where it was breaking off just touching it with my fingers. Researched what to do since I could not even brush it. Decided to try K18 since i felt I had nothing else to lose, and WOW. It made worlds difference. It’s still going to be a long road getting it healthy again (yes, I know any bleach damages hair). But to be able to run my fingers through it again, worth every penny of this product!

Wouldn’t buy again

It might not be the mask but I feel my hair got worse after using it. I’ve purchased twice now and can’t see my hair was any better for it

Bought for years now, nothing else like it

It’s not really a post-color service “bond repair” product in the way Olaplex/Epres are. It’s more like a protein treatment, using a biomimetic keratin peptide (which makes so much more sense than quinoa protein or something). It fixes split ends and bulks up strands.

I didn’t find it life changing but I need to give it another go with more constincency. Only issue is that with such long hair I can’t not us a conditioner before

There's better bond repair out there

I really tried to like K18. It kept getting recommended to me for my damaged hair, so I kept repurchasing it - but I have finally given up - here's why: 1. The price - the cost per fl oz is much more expensive than competitors (like Olaplex, Epres) 2. The science - it's just not there. In a head to head, Olaplex performed much better on actually healing hair damage. I feel like K18 uses a lot of science washing in their marketing without actually having the scientific support. 3. It's drying - my hair feels awful after using this. I've used it with different shampoos, conditioners, masks, leave ins, I just cannot get it to work for me. I have a very dry scalp and dry hair and it just isn't for me. I tried applying as Abbey Yung suggets (wait 4 min, conditioner after) and still that did not work for me. 4. The application - I find this SO difficult to apply evenly to my hair (again, compared to alternatives from Olaplex and Epres) - and it is annoying to wait 4 min post shampoo. 5. Maybe it's just not for dry hair types, but I noticed my hair was not improved from long term use (over 1.5 years of consistent use on recommended schedule). My hair never felt better or less damaged - so I officially give up

Giving it 5 stars for my relaxed hair and when I was transitioning to natural. Hair feels soft and manageable. 4 stars on my natural 4b hair. It's nice when I'm doing a blow dry or silk press
