Dangerous

Caused immediate allergic reaction of red tracking up my face. Removed straight away, skin washed, took cetirizine & daubed on some hydrocortisone cream. The red tracking was on my face above lips where no gloss was put. After removal my lips & face began to swell & burn red hot. Inside my mouth felt swollen. I applied a cold compress from fridge. After 2 hours or so it started to get better & redness reduced but I started to feel dizzy/ light headed & weird. A full 4 hours on I felt pretty much ok. What a waste of money. Who would think such an expensive product would do this. Not fit for sale. Dangerous & expensive & I bought 2 of them.

Great gloss!

This is a great lip oil that plumps as well as moisturizes. Yes, you can feel the plumper for sure but that does t bother me. It isn’t sticky, stays put, and has buildable color payoff. Win/win.

My Lips are Juicy!!

My lips sting but I know the plumping effect is working. I will say if you don't care for the stinging effect then pass on this one. Other than that my lips feel hydrated and juicy!!

Never, ever, have I had such a reaction to ANY cosmetic. Left my lips red for hours after use, left my hand red where I had swatched it (shouldn't have swatched on hands and lips at the same time or I would've caught the reaction). Painful and dangerous, YSL needs to discontinue this or reformulate ASAP.

My new obsession!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Not going to lie, the tingling sensation during application almost deterred me from the product. But the final plump and glossiness from my lips is all worth it! It lasts for hours without reapplying and shape my lips so well.

Must have it in my routine

After using this lip oil i love it.The color is pretty and it gives the lips a beautiful plump

In the shade espresso stardust: first off, the photo doesn’t do the shimmer justice. This was a brown/plum shade that took very little to give that robust glossy effect when applied. It actually smells like a plum/peach dessert. There is the tingling effect that isn’t slight but not painful. Lasting effects of the plumping and color are for a few hours. Classic ysl packaging but I like the fatter/larger diameter. Will continue to use! I got this product for free in exchange for a review

Сauses an allergic reaction

I bought this lip gloss on the 29th of April in Poland (there is no Polish YSL website, that's why I am writing my review here). When I used it for the first time, I felt a temporary tingling sensation, and my lips became a little bigger. I liked the effect and how my lips looked. But when I applied it for the second time in two days, I got some redness on my skin above my lip, which didn't look very good. And the next day after it (that is today), my lips itch from morning till now. I am not allergic. I have never had reactions to cosmetics. I don’t understand why this happened or why the product doesn’t say you should do a patch test before applying. After all, I put a little amount of the product on my hand, and it reddened and became swollen. I don't think this product can be applied to sensitive areas of skin like lips. I do not recommend buying it. I would like to know how I can return this lip gloss. Please, contact me.

Nostalgic color and shine

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This was a fun easy addition to my makeup routine. I added this gloss and the color was very flattering and dispensed well from the tube. The wand was mess free and glided smoothly. The gloss had a thick hydrating texture and wore decently long. The only thing I wasn’t in love with was the tingling sensation that I presume was whatever plumping ingredient they added. It was a bit uncomfortable and I didn’t notice any obvious plumping.
