Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic Formato Viaje - Eau de Toilette

I love this scent on me. And for some reason, so do bees, but that's okay. I love a good’ol improv running session. But I will definitely keep it in my fragrance draw from now on. Personally, I may wear this more in winter. But I get a lot of compliments on it.

I agree with some of the reviews saying it doesn’t last that long but the scent is just great. Zesty and refreshing. Perfect for spring. Also FYI it comes in a very small bottle. I think it’s a great sample size to try before committing to the full size. I love it and will get the bigger one.

Smells more like citrus to me than pear, but it’s good nonetheless. Very fresh and more of a unisex scent than especially feminine. Doesn’t have the best staying power but that is par for the fruity-scent course.

I never return perfumes but I did this one. The bottle is beautiful so I really wanted to make it work. I just couldn’t with the scent. I just smells to artificial and chemically for me.

I got this as a free sample with purchase and found I love it. It’s refreshing, not overpowering, and the scent lasts. I have been waiting for it to be back in stock so I can purchase a bottle.

I friggin LOVE LOVE LOVE this perfume and always want it in my house! I keep it in the refrigerator to maintain its scent being that I don’t go through bottles quickly. It’s sweet but not overpowering.. I’m very picky and tend to love rose scents. This is a wonderful addition, I even find I wear it more than Versace Bright Crystal and that was my #1 ♥️

honey yuzu tea

This smells like the honey yuzu tea I loved as a kid. It’s sweet, citrusy and refreshing. However, it is light with pretty minimal projection. It’s inoffensive, nice and feminine.

A tangy and refreshing mandarin citrus scent, with a very slight sweet undertone like fancy shampoo (in a good way). Not bitter at all, not very sweet either, and not overpowering to my sensitive nose. Personally prefer a slightly sweeter or more complex scent but still very nice.

Just fine - if you want a perfume that is pretty much orange juice in a bottle, then this is great for you! Very clean and fresh smelling, but I don't detect any other notes other than the mandarin. Nice, but not unique enough for me to keep personally.

Perfect citrus scent!

Finally found a more natural smelling citrus scent. It has a wonderful zesty aroma!

Pear? Where?

If you're buying this hoping for a bright, beautiful pear scent, prepare to be disappointed. While I definitely get some amount of "bright and fresh" from this perfume, the pear is nowhere to be found and is presumably drowned out by the bergamot (which only tries unsuccessfully to balance out the osmanthus). I love pear. I love bergamot. This is not my first Guerlain Aqua Allegoria purchase (I also own Pamplelune), so I usually enjoy this line for its citrus-forward approach. But for me, this particular scent is osmanthus – and thus floral – forward. Sadly, I will be returning this because it just isn't the pear scent I was after. If you love pear and want something that actually smells like it, try Pear, Inc from Juliette Has a Gun. It DOES smell like pear, with a background of their signature Not a Perfume (synthetic ambroxan).
