I’ve been testing out the Fenty Hair Curl Cream, and I can confidently say—it’s a game changer for curly hair. As someone with textured hair that needs both hydration and definition, I’m always on the hunt for a product that does it all without weighing my curls down. Fenty delivered.

Need’s reformulation

My daughters have very different hair textures and it didn’t work for either of them. Very heavy, sticky and left a waxy residue that was very hard to wash out.

The flakes are unforgivable.

I'm giving this product 3 stars because the scent is incredible. I would wear it as a perfume. The hold is also fine; it gives me kind of a day 3 "messy" curl on the first day. I don't think my style while using this product would last longer than 2-3 days at best because the hold is so light. It gets the job done in a pinch. The most disappointing thing about this product is that it flakes so so bad I look like I have dandruff. Wildly disappointing. I wanted to like this product but sadly I'll have to return. The photo attached is of Day 2 hair.

not too heavy for waves/low porosity hair

I bought this because I saw a girl on tt rave about this with similar hair to me. Usually creams are too heavy and I opt for light weight products. A little of this product goes a long way. I get lots of compliments on how my hair smells even if, yes (ew), its hot outside and I start sweating.. it almost makes the smell come back? Other people who have tried this say you need more for thicker or dryer hair, I could see how the scent could be overwhelming if you are using a lot.

Great definition… if you can get past the scent

Day 1 of this product my curls looked great, aside from the scent (reminds me of Poison, which is the only tragic flaw of this product). This is why I only rated 4 stars.

Disappointed

I definitely would not recommend. Made my hair dry: slight definition but dry. Taking this back.

Great Curl Cream, Even Better Scent!

Great curl cream! I have fine, curly hair, but a lot of it, and this curl cream gave me defined curls without weighing my hair down. My hair is 2-3 inches below my shoulders and I used about a quarter sized amount on soaking wet hair, scrunched it in, and wrapped it in a microfiber towel for about 15-20 minutes before blow drying with a diffuser. My hair looked great! But, the scent….OMG, the scent….it’s to die for and I’m REALLY hoping that Fenty comes out with body products/fragrances in this scent! The scent of the hair products line seems to be pretty popular, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Fenty is listening.

A new love!

Absolutely love this product!! A lot of people have had the residue/inability to mix with products, specifically gels, and I’m here to say Pattern Beauty’s Foam and Gel work very well with this if you need a great gel/mousse option! Overall this is such an amazing curl cream. Fragrance is delish, 10/10!!!

This is great, i only used this in my hair because i ran out of leave in and gel and mouse with no technique and it worked beautifully

My daughter loves this cream for her beautiful curls. And I love how it makes her curls look.
